Subscription Basics
What is Sunshine Drop?
Sunshine Drop is a monthly subscription service that brings a beautiful package to your doorstep every month. Each Drop includes thoughtfully curated stationery such as notebooks, greeting cards, notecard sets, surprise gifts and monthly digital goodies from Lulu Kitololo Studio.
What do I receive every month?
You'll receive a beautifully curated package featuring a mix of stationery items and creative goodies.
Is every Drop the same?
No. Every month features a different Sunshine Drop.
Can I choose what I receive each month?
Not really. Sunshine Drop is designed to be a surprise, but you can trust us to create beautiful pieces you'll love.
Is this a surprise subscription?
Yes! Sunshine Drop is a surprise subscription, with a minimum commitment of three months.
Who curates the items?
Every Sunshine Drop is curated by Lulu Kitololo and our team of creative designers.
Payment & Billing
How much does it cost?
Sunshine Drop is purchased as a one-off upfront payment. Our smallest Sunshine Journey starts from KSh 6,000.
When am I charged?
Payment is made upfront when you purchase your chosen Sunshine Journey.
Will I be charged automatically every month?
No. Sunshine Drop does not renew automatically. Once you've selected your preferred Sunshine Journey, you pay once upfront.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Unfortunately, subscriptions cannot be cancelled after purchase. However, you're welcome to transfer the remaining Drops to another recipient.
Can I pause my subscription?
If there's nobody available to receive your package, we're happy to hold it for you. However, you'll only receive the Drops that fall within your original subscription period. For example, if your subscription covers August, September and October, you'll receive those three Drops only.
Do I lose my money if I cancel part-way through?
Yes. Sunshine Drop purchases are non-refundable.
Subscription Duration
What subscription options are available?
You can choose between:
• 3 Drops
• 6 Drops
• 12 Drops
Can I upgrade my subscription after purchasing?
Yes. You'll simply pay the difference between your current Sunshine Journey and the one you'd like to upgrade to.
Can I downgrade my subscription?
Unfortunately not.
What happens when my subscription ends?
A few days before your final Drop, we'll send you a reminder inviting you to purchase a new Sunshine Journey.
Subscriptions do not renew automatically.
Delivery & Timing
When will I receive my Sunshine Drop?
Join before the 15th of the current month and receive your Sunshine Drop between the 5th and 8th of the following month.
What if I'm not available on the delivery date?
If you know in advance that nobody will be available to receive your package, please let us know via WhatsApp on 0734 480 929 and we'll help make alternative arrangements.
You're also welcome to collect your Sunshine Drop from our Loresho shop.
Can I choose my delivery date?
No. Sunshine Drops are delivered between the 5th and 8th of each month.
What if I'm travelling?
You're welcome to collect your package from our Loresho shop, or contact us to discuss alternative delivery arrangements.
What if I miss my delivery?
Your Sunshine Drop will be available for collection from our Loresho shop.
Do you deliver nationwide?
At the moment, Sunshine Drop deliveries are available within Nairobi.
If you're based outside Nairobi and would like to join Sunshine Drop, please contact us via WhatsApp and we'll help arrange delivery options.
Which courier do you use?
We currently deliver using Fargo Courier.
Digital Goodies
How do I access my digital downloads?
You'll receive access via email, together with a download link.
Do I lose access once my subscription ends?
No. You'll continue to have access to any digital goodies you've already received, but you won't receive any new digital downloads after your subscription ends.
Please note that all digital products are for personal use only and may not be resold or used commercially.
Can I download my files more than once?
Yes.
Gifting
Can I gift Sunshine Drop to someone else?
Absolutely! Sunshine Drop makes a thoughtful gift and gifting is highly encouraged.
Can I send it anonymously?
No. We'll need the recipient's details so we can successfully deliver their Sunshine Drop.
Trust & Transparency
What's inside the box before I subscribe?
We'll occasionally share previous Sunshine Drops to give you a feel for the experience. However, every Drop is different, and part of the magic is not knowing exactly what's coming next.
Can I see examples of previous Drops?
Yes. We'll be sharing previous Sunshine Drops on our social media pages.
Is Sunshine Drop worth the price?
We certainly think so. As a Sunshine Drop subscriber, you'll enjoy access to new releases before anyone else, including limited-edition products, together with exclusive subscriber value that's not available through our regular shop.
